Dr. Gabriele Vaccaro received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Palermo in Sicily, Italy in 2003. He had training in Reconstructive Dentistry and Aesthetics under Doctors Berutti and Mangani in 2004. He had advanced training in Endodontics under Dr. Palmeri in 2005. Implant prosthesis training under Dr. Amato in 2006. This further interest him to improve his craft and underwent postgraduate advanced implantology training at Modena and Reggio Emilia University under Professor Consolo in 2007. He became a Dental Clinic Director in Palermo, Italy from 2005-2009. And again in Bologna, Italy at the Ot Dental Clinic from 2009-2019. He is an international speaker in multiple conferences and events across Europe, North America and Asia. He is an international certified speaker of Rhein 83.

Natural Roots Direct Overdenture Restorations: Clinical Applications and Techniques
In modern implantology tooth extraction has become a routinary and underestimated procedure. Substitution of compromised teeth is gradually becoming the first choice, instead of treating. In many cases we have the opportunity to take advantage of remaining teeth, or residual roots, before we proceed with other irreversible solution. In this lecture we will discuss the why and how to treat residual roots as an anchor for removable prosthesis.
