Memberships

Affiliate Members shall be dentists with the following qualifications:

  1. Interested in the discipline of Endodontics
  2. Member of the Philippine Dental Association
  3. Endorsed by at least two (2) Active Members of the Association
  4. Have satisfactorily completed MODULAR WORKSHOPS conducted by the Society
  5. Remain in affiliate status by paying his/her dues and MUST attend biennial or annual meetings of the ESP

Affiliate Members are encouraged to be an Active Member within three years from the time of induction.

Active Members shall be dentists with the following qualifications:

  1. He/she must be interested in the discipline of Endodontics.
  2. He/she must be a member of the Philippine Dental Association.
  3. He/she must be endorsed by at least two (2) active members of the Association.
  4. He/she must submit five (5) case histories:

    • 2 mono rooted
    • 2 bi rooted
    • 1 multi-rooted teeth

    treated by applicant including acceptable radiographs and follow-up of at least one (1) year recall for evaluation.

  5. Submission of case histories may be waived for dentists with graduate degree in Endodontics.
  6. He/she must remain in active status by paying his/her dues and must attend biennial, annual and quarterly meetings of the ESP.

Honorary Members are individuals who are elected by the Assembly in recognition of significant contributions to further the advancement of Endodontics. They shall not have the privilege to vote nor hold office nor pay dues.

Life Members are dentists who have practiced for thirty (30) years or more or who have attained the age of sixty (60), may be elected to life membership by a majority of the members present during a General Assembly. They should be Active Members in good standing in the association for a period of at least fifteen (15) years. Thereafter they need not pay dues and other assessments, however their generous contributions shall be accepted as donations to the Society.
