EAMC-ESP Externship Training Program in Endodontics 2024

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Wednesdays)
East Avenue Medical Center

The ESP developed an externship training program in endodontics to provide an opportunity for dentists to further their knowledge and skills in the practice of endodontics through clinical cases and while doing so, rendering service to the marginalized sector of our community.

The program is focused in developing a clinician who can come up with an appropriate treatment plan and likewise to execute it for the good of his patient. Clinical activities constitute 90% of the program with clinical proficiency enhanced in all phases of Endodontic Therapy. Training and experience is provided in all accepted Endodontic treatment modalities.

The program encompasses clinical and didactic instruction over a period of 1 year, 8 hours a week. This Program is in partnership with the Hospital Dentistry of the East Avenue Medical Center headed by Dr. Noemi Pato. The facilities include modern clinical operatory, lecture room and hall, dental operating microscope, cone beam computed tomography, radiographic imaging facility and contemporary armamentarium in Endodontics.

It is expected that the Externs in Endodontics received their major didactic knowledge and laboratory exercises from the Endodontic Society of the Philippines Intensive Program in Endodontics.
