Exploring Pulpal and Periapical Pathologies: Diagnostic Challenges and Case Presentations

Accurate diagnosis is crucial for successful treatment in endodontics. Without thorough diagnostic testing, including patient history and chief complaints, it is impossible to formulate the correct treatment plan. The signs and symptoms of pulpal and periapical pathologies can often be misleading if not interpreted in conjunction with comprehensive diagnostic tools. This lecture aims to provide a deeper understanding of these diagnostic challenges by presenting real clinical cases that demonstrate the complexity of diagnosis. The lecture will highlight the importance of utilizing all available diagnostic resources to guide decision-making and ensure the success of root canal therapy.

Biomechanical Strategies for Mastering WaveOne Gold Preparation

Biomechanical preparation (BMP) plays a very important role in root canal treatment. The success of the treatment depends on how well the root canal treatment was shaped to receive the filling material. This lecture aims to give the participants the do's and don’ts in doing BMP to achieve a predictable result thru lecture and hands on workshop using wave one gold and endo motor. The participants are expected to do it on the endo block and the outcome of the BMP will be discussed based on the output of the participants.
